NOTE TO SELF

As the sun shines each day, I promise to sit with myself. I pledge to acknowledge every part of myself and never withhold what I feel, never refuse an evolution of self which would be nothing short of a soulful disappointment if allowed.

I explore life, particularly life that resides in every breath released. To have emotions – happiness, sorrow, heartbreak, tranquility – is an experience in itself that deserves full recognition. I journey to stand in awe of myself in every form.

To understand every ounce of love that is freely dispersed upon others, must also be gifted to onseself – packaged in gorgeous papers, delivered with flowers adored since childhood. Providing grace in the mirror’s foggy reflection, submitting space in overcrowded thoughts, allowing adoration in the quirkiest moments.

I will applaud each as I study love – within, given, received, manifested – even the absence of love.

This is my space – simple, breathable, free, and safe.
